About me

Like Fern Nichols, the founder of Moms in Touch, LaFon Jantz believes in the power of prayer. The Region 3 Field Encourager and RFI Assistant for the Washington State Support Team, LaFon Jantz finds it easy to follow the Core Priorities of Moms in Touch: God First, Family Second, and Ministry Third. As the mother of two young boys, LaFon Jantz takes her commitment to Moms in Touch seriously, and works to organize weekly prayer meetings where her sons attend classes. Meeting weekly in the teachersโ€™ lounge, LaFon Jantz volunteers her time to encourage other mothers to join her in praying for all the students of Cedar Park Christian Schools. The wife of noted author and eating disorder specialist Dr. Gregory L. Jantz, LaFon Jantz served as a Research Assistant on his weight-loss book, Losing Weight Permanently: Secrets From The 2 Percent Club. Together, they operate The Center for Counseling and Health Resources in Edmonds, Washington, where LaFon Jantz serves as a business advisor. The Center for Counseling and Health Resources is a licensed treatment facility providing comprehensive care for eating disorders, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, physical abuse, drug abuse, alcoholism, gambling, and sex addictions. LaFon Jantz graduated from Everett High School and received her Bachelor of Arts in Business and Marketing from Seattle Pacific University. LaFon Jantz enjoys keeping fit and participated in the Skagit Valley Tulip Walk/Run with her family.
